SG Villmar / Arfurt / Aumenau II – FSG Gräveneck / Seelbach I 6: 2 (3: 2)

Already when looking at the bright numbers, it can be guessed that a heated derby was delivered to the viewers on the Aumenau artificial turf pitch:

8 goals, 10 yellow cards, a time penalty and a red card.

The FSG Gräveneck / Seelbach I had to accept a bitter 2: 6 defeat against the SG Villmar / Aumenau / Arfurt II on Sunday. Despite playful superiority in large parts of the game, mistakes in the defensive and the ice-cold exploitation of opportunities by the hosts ensured the clear end result.

The game started very unfavorably for the FSG. After a ball loss in the midfield, the SG went in the 6th Minute with a quick counter 1-0 in the lead. However, the guests were unimpressed and achieved in the 13th Minute the compensation earned. After a corner of Leon Alker, Marcel put people across, and Miles Österling scored 1-1 in a header. The FSG had three top-class opportunities before, but they remained unused.

Shortly afterwards, the SG again took advantage of a standard situation: in the 16th Minute brought a clever hacking gate back into the lead after a short corner ball. The FSG remained game-determining, but repeatedly failed to exploit its chances. In the 33rd Minute, a goal was revoked by Bogdan Gaceanu for a questionable decision, causing the guests to take a break behind.

The game remained open after a kick-off, but the SG VAA consistently took advantage of its opportunities. In the 55th Minute increased the hosts to 3-1 before in the 75th Minute the 4: 2 fell after goalkeeper Ferdi Losekamm initially parried brilliantly, but the margin nevertheless landed on the net. The FSG previously had two top-class opportunities through Leon Alker and Bogdan Gaceanu, which, however, narrowly passed the gate.

In the 81st Minute, a host player received the red card after Marcel Volk was brutally fouled without a chance at the ball. Shortly afterwards in the 88th Minute another time penalty for the home elf. Despite the majority, the FSG was unable to translate the superiority into goals. Instead, the SG VAA remained dangerous due to counter and even scored 6: 2 in the injury time. (Hung May – thank you very much)
